Cameron Parish Recreation District 5 held its regularly scheduled meeting on February 20, 2025 at 6:00 pm.
The meeting began with the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance led by Jacob Babcock.
The invocation was led by Thomas Cox.
Board President Tremayne Picou called the meeting to order and on roll call the following members were present: Thomas Cox and Jacob Babcock.
Absent: Kris Howerton and Kayla Conner
Employees in attendance were Lisa Ledano and Vickie Pickett
Guests present: Mr. Sam Bordelon
A draft of the minutes of the previous meeting, January 16, 2025, was distributed to all board members via electronic mail prior to the meeting. Thomas Cox made a motion to accept the minutes as presented. Jacob Babcock seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Public comment: none.

Storage options for past years documents – Jacob Babcock made a motion to place the documents in totes and utilize the pool house for storage of past years documents. Thomas Cox seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Public comment: none.
The board members present reviewed the invoices for the month of January 2025. Thomas Cox made a motion to approve the bills. Jacob Babcock seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Public comment: none.
The financial statement for the month of January 2025 was distributed to all board members via electronic mail prior to the meeting. Jacob Babcock made a motion to accept the financial statement as presented. Thomas Cox seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Public comment: none.
With no further business to discuss, Thomas Cox made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Jacob Babcock seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Public comment: none.
