The Cameron Parish Waterworks District No. 10 met in regular session at the Waterworks office located at 6246 Gulf Beach Hwy. in Johnson Bayou on January 14, 2025, at 5:00p.m. Members present by roll call were Connie Trahan, Kent Carlson, and Mark Young. Members absent were Nathan Griffith and Bobbie Trahan. Employees attending were Rhonda Morrison, Carl Trahan, and Aaron Jinks. The guest attending was none.
It was moved by Connie Trahan to call the meeting to order.
The pledge was said by all present and the prayer was led by Connie Trahan.
It was moved by Mark Young to approve the agenda as presented. No comment was given. The motion was seconded by Kent Carlson and carried by all.
A Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comment was given.
It was moved by Mark Young, seconded by Kent Carlson, and carried to accept the December minutes as read.
It was moved by Kent Carlson to authorize Connie Trahan to sign the 2025 Elevator Maintenance Contract with IES. No public comment was given. The motion was seconded by Mark Young and carried.
It was moved by Mark Young to advertise for a full-time Secretary position and review applications at the February meeting. No comment was given. The motion was seconded by Kent Carlson and carried.
It was moved by Mark Young, seconded by Kent Carlson, and carried to approve the bank statements and the Actual vs. Budget report for the month ending December 2024.
It was moved by Mark Young, seconded by Kent Carlson, and carried to approve the bills as paid.
