November 21, 2024
Kathleen Simon called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m. Board Members present were Ernest Roberts, Beth Ferguson, Ronald Nunez, and Kathleen Simon. Board Members not present were Jessica Crador. Beth Ferguson led the prayer and pledge of allegiance.
Public Comments: There was no public comment.
On the motion by Beth Ferguson, seconded by Ernest Roberts, and carried, the Library Board voted and accepted the September minutes.
On the motion by Ernest Roberts, seconded by Beth Ferguson, and carried, the Library Board voted and accepted the financial statement.
On the motion by Beth Ferguson, seconded by Ernest Roberts, and carried, the Library Board voted and accepted to go into contract with AmeriNet Consulting for the E-Rate Basic Maintenance Service in the amount of $10,700.00 per year.
On the motion by Ernest Roberts, seconded by Beth Ferguson, and carried, the Library Board voted to accept to go into contract with Cameron Communications, LLC. for the Internet Service. The type of service and amount will be decided at the January 21, 2025 board meeting.
On the motion by Beth Ferguson, seconded by Ernest Roberts, and carried, the Library Board voted to have the 2025 Library Board meetings quarterly: January 21, 2025, April 15, 2025, August 19, 2025, and December 16, 2025.
On the motion by Beth Ferguson, seconded by Ernest Roberts, and carried, the Library Board voted to table the Lowry Library.
There being no further business and upon the motion by Beth Ferguson, seconded by Ernest Roberts, and carried, the Library Board voted unanimously to adjourn at 6:14 p.m.
