There was a regular meeting of Gravity Drainage District No. 8 at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Grand Lake Waterworks Office.
PRESENT: Terry Smith, Gary Baccigalopi, James Cox, Monty Pearce, Tommy Arceneaux
ABSENT: None
GUESTS: None
On motion of James Cox, second by Tommy Arceneaux and carried, the minutes of September 18, 2025, meeting are approved.
On motion of Tommy Arceneaux, second by Terry Smith and carried, the October 2025 Finance Report was accepted by the board as presented by the Secretary.
On motion of Tommy Arceneaux, second by James Cox and carried, the board approved the 2026 Budget as presented by the Secretary.
On motion of Monty Pearce, second by Tommy Arceneaux and carried, the board added consideration of a work order request to clean the North Canal to the agenda.
On motion of James Cox, second by Tommy Arceneaux and carried, the board authorized the Secretary to submit the following work order request:
a. Lateral 18B & C
b. Lateral 29 – Kathy Road
c. North Canal (add on)
On motion of James Cox, second by Terry Smith and carried, the board approved the following permits:
a. LCUP # 251102
b. LCUP# 251015
c. LCUP # 251202
On motion of Tommy Arceneaux, second by James Cox and carried, the meeting was adjourned.
