The Cameron Parish Wastewater District No. 1 Board met in regular session on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 4:00 PM in the wastewater district office located at 126 Ann Street in the town of Cameron, Louisiana.
Guest: Davy Doxey, Tammy Peshoff
Kim Murphy called the meeting to order and conducted the election of officers. The Board elected Tammy Vincent as President and Anthony Theriot as Vice President. The meeting was then handed over to the President and the remaining agenda items were followed.
The Pledge was led by Tammy Vincent along with roll call and the voluntary Prayer.
Roll Call: Present: Tammy Vincent, Anthony Theriot, Vickie Conner, and Donnie LeJeune
Absent: Christine Mooney
On a motion by Anthony Theriot, seconded by Donnie LeJeune and carried, to elect Tammy Vincent as President of the Wastewater Board, with 3 yeahs, 0 nays, and 1 absent. The motion passed.
On a motion by Vickie Conner, seconded by Donnie LeJeune and carried, to elect Anthony Theriot as Vice President of the Wastewater Board, with 3 yeahs, 0 nays, and 1 absent. The motion passed.
On a motion by Vickie Conner, seconded by Donnie LeJeune and carried, to elect Kim Murphy as Secretary/Treasurer of the Wastewater Board, with 4 yeahs, 0 nays, and 1 absent. The motion passed.
On a motion by Vickie Conner, seconded by Anthony Theriot and carried, to approve the financial statement, including the Actual vs Budget, for the month of October 2023.
On a motion by Anthony Theriot, seconded by Vickie Conner and carried, that the bills for the month of October 2023 be paid.
On a motion by Vickie Conner, seconded by Donnie LeJeune and carried, that the Wastewater Board meetings will be held every fourth Thursday of the month at 4:00 p.m. for the year 2024.
On a motion by Anthony Theriot, seconded by Donnie LeJeune and carried, to move the December 26, 2023 board meeting to December 28, 2023 due to the holidays.
On a motion by Donnie LeJeune, seconded by Vickie Conner and carried, there being no further business, the meeting stands adjourned.
