The Minutes from the September meeting were approved. A motion was made by Ronald Nunez seconded by Gabe LaLande all were in favor.
The financial report was approved. A motion was made by Ronald Nunez seconded by Gabe LaLande, all were in favor.
The bills were approved. A motion was made by Ronald Nunez, seconded by Gabe LaLande, all were in favor.
Rusty Welch reported to the board he talked to Kara Bonsall Global is starting the redirecting of the Red Man Lateral project. The board still has the permit tabled, LCUP# 220904 Venture Global CP2 LNG, LLC. Venture is starting the project without an approved permit.
Rusty met with Fema inspector for the North Cameron Protection Levee and the pumps. Courthouse pump needs a fence and Red Man Lateral needs a gate and some of the fence repaired. A motion was made by Ronald Nunez, seconded by Gabe LaLande to go ahead with the fence project.
FEMA looked at a lot of things and captured damages on the North Cameron Protection Levee from Wakefield Road to Murphy Lane. FEMA wrote a PW to repair the Levee. The board will wait to see if the PW is approved.
Nicolas Gaspard with Fenster met with the board about helping with funding to extend North Cameron Protection Levee from Murphy Lane to Hwy 82, also getting the levee back to elevation. He let the board know Flood Protection is reimbursed 100% for design and 100% for construction.
The board approved for Rusty and Nicolas to start working on a plan to get the project started. The plan can be changed as needed.
A motion was made by Ronald Nunez to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Gabe LaLande, all were in favor.
