WATER DISTRICT NO. 11
PROCEEDINGS
November 13, 2023
There was a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Water District No. 11 at 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 13, 2023, at the Grand Lake Waterworks office.
PRESENT: Carl Granger, Grace Robideaux, Jerome Verzwyvelt, Wayne Hebert
ABSENT: John T Constance
On motion of Wayne Hebert, seconded by Grace Robideaux and carried unanimously, the minutes from the October 16, 2023 regular meeting were approved as previously sent out.
There was a discussion regarding tank repairs/replacement. We have been awarded CWEF/LGAP grant funds in the amount $250,000 for tank repairs. It appears that replacing the tank at the office well may be more cost effective than making repairs to the existing tank. We will request approval for doing a tank replacement before proceeding.
The 2024 Proposed Budget was reviewed. The budget will be adopted at the next meeting.
There was a financial report given for the month ending October 31, 2023 by Helen Williams.
On motion of Jerome Verzwyvelt, seconded by Grace Robideaux and carried unanimously, the financial statements for the period ending and October 31, 2023 which reflect budget comparison were accepted as presented.
The Superintendent’s Report was presented by Jacob Nunez.
On motion of Grace Robideaux, seconded by Jerome Verzwyvelt and carried unanimously, all bills were approved for payment.
There being no further business, on motion of Grace Robideaux, seconded by Wayne Hebert and carried unanimously, the meeting was declared adjourned.
