LEGAL NOTICE
STATE OF LOUISIANA, OFFICE OF CONSERVATION, BATON ROUGE, LOUISIANA.
In accordance with the laws of the State of Louisiana, and with particular reference to the provisions of Title 30 of Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, a public hearing will be held in the Hearing Room, 1st Floor, LaSalle Building, 617 North 3rd Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at 9:00 a.m. on TUESDAY, JANUARY 10, 2023, upon the application of HILCORP ENERGY COMPANY.
At such hearing the Commissioner of Conservation will consider evidence relative to the issuance of Orders pertaining to the following matters relating to the 39-84 Zone, Reservoir A, in the Deep Lake Field, Cameron Parish, Louisiana.
1. To dissolve the existing drilling and production unit created as the 39-84 Zone, Reservoir A, by Office of Conservation Order No. 243-W, effective June 28, 2022, and to simultaneously create a revised single drilling and production for the 39-84 Zone, Reservoir A, designated as 39-84 RA SUA, at the location shown on the plat submitted with the application, and to approve an exception to the spacing provisions of LAC 43:XIX.1901, et seq. (Statewide Order No. 29-E).
2. To establish rules and regulations governing the exploration for and production of oil, gas and condensate from said revised unit.
3. To force pool and integrate all separately owned tracts, mineral leases and other property interests within the revised unit so created, with each tract sharing in unit production on a surface acreage basis of participation.
4. To designate and utilize the Hilcorp Energy Company-A.M. Mhire No. 002 Well as the unit well for said revised unit.
5. To designate Hilcorp Energy Company as operator of the revised 39-84 RA SUA.
6. To provide that any future wells drilled to the 39-84 Zone, Reservoir A, within or outside of the revised unit created herein, should be located in exception to the spacing provisions of LAC 43:XIX.1901 et seq. (Statewide Order No. 29-E).
7. To find that, except to the extent contrary to the order granted by the Commissioner of Conservation in connection with the hearing held on this application, the provisions of Order No. 243-W shall remain in full force and effect.
8. To consider such other matters as may be pertinent.
The 39-84 Zone, Reservoir A was defined in Order No. 243-W, effective June 28, 2022.
A plat is available for inspection in the Office of Conservation in Baton Rouge and Lafayette, Louisiana.
