Christmas on Capitol Hill was a blast!

Cameron Christmas on Capitol Hill held Wednesday, Dec. 17, provided a family friendly environment that brightened the Christmas Spirit for all that attended at Cameron’s Courthouse Square. It included many activities provided for the children to enjoy as well as create great memories doing some of the following activities: cookie decorating, blowing bubbles with Buddy the Elf, playing in the snow, face painting, photo booth photos, mailing letters to Santa, and visits with Santa Claus and Mr. Grinch.

Each family received a free frozen turkey and there were five big screen TVs given away in a drawing.

Food and beverages were served including: Grinch punch, sodas, pastalaya, Reindeer mix, popcorn, Christmas tree cakes, Polar Express goody bags, hot cocoa, smores, hot dogs and lots of treats.

The event was sponsored by the following LNG Companies: Commonwealth, Sempra Infrastructure, Cheniere and Venture Global.

Participating with booths were: District Attorney’s Office, Clerk of Court’s office, Cameron Registrar of Voters, Port of Cameron, Cameron Sheriffs Department, K&M Project Services, Cameron Tourist Commission, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Cameron Lions Club, Infinity Energy Service, Cameron Judges Office, Cameron Parish Library, Cameron Assessor’s Office, Cameron Parish School Board. All provided attendees the best way to eperience and enjoy Christmas joy with their families.
