WATER DISTRICT NO. 11
PROCEEDINGS
June 16, 2025
There was a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Water District No. 11 at 6:00 p.m., Monday, June 16, 2025, at the Grand Lake Waterworks office.
PRESENT: Grace Robideaux, Jerome Verzwyvelt, Shelly Medlock, John T Constance
ABSENT: Carl Granger
On motion of Shelly Granger, seconded by and John T Constance carried unanimously, the agenda was approved as posted.
On motion of Jerome Verzwyvelt, seconded by John T Constance and carried unanimously, the minutes from the May 19, 2025 regular meeting were approved as previously sent out.
There was an update given on the airport generator. Repairs have been made to the tank and it will not be replaced at this time.
On motion of John T. Constance, seconded by Shelly Medlock and carried unanimously, necessary mechanical repairs will be made to the 2014 Dodge truck. We will discuss purchase of a new truck at the next meeting.
On motion of John T Constance, seconded by Shelly Medlock and carried unanimously, the following new monthly rates were adopted to take effect July 1, 2025:
Standard Rate $ 22.00
Senior Rate $15.00
Calcasieu Rate $30.00
Price per thousand over 2,000 gallons $3.50
Debt Service Fee 0.00
Clean Water Act Tax $1.00
There was a financial report given for the month ending May 31, 2025 by Helen Williams.
On motion of Jerome Verzwyvelt, seconded by John T Constance and carried unanimously, the financial statements for the period ending and May 31, 2025 which reflect budget comparison were accepted as presented.
The Superintendent’s Report was presented by Jake Nunez.
On motion of Jerome Verzwyvelt, seconded by John T Constance and carried unanimously, all bills were approved for payment.
There being no further business, on motion of John T. Constance, seconded by Shelly Medlock and carried unanimously, the meeting was declared adjourned.
