The Lower Cameron Hospital Service District (“District”) governed by the Board of said District (the “Board”), of the Parish of Cameron, State of Louisiana, will meet in regular public session at its regular meeting place, 110 Smith Circle Suite B Cameron, Louisiana, at four (4:00) o’clock p.m. on May 14, 2025, according to written notice given to every member thereof and duly posted in the manner required by law.
The President called the meeting to order, and on roll call, the following members were present:

RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE DESCRIBING THE GEOGRAPHIC LIMITS OF THE LOWER CAMERON HOSPITAL DISTRICT OF THE PARISH OF CAMERON, STATE OF LOUISIANA
WHEREAS, by initial affirmative action taken by the Lower Cameron Hospital Service District, an election has been called for November 15, 2025, to consider the levy of the Continuation of ad valorem tax in the Lower Cameron Hospital Service District (“District”), and as a result thereof, it is necessary to publish notice of the boundaries of the District;
BE RESOLVED by the Lower Cameron Hospital Service District as follows:
SECTION 1. The Lower Cameron Hospital Service District has specifically reviewed the statements expressly contained within the preamble to this Resolution and found them to be factually accurate and correct. These statements are hereby made as resolutions of the Lower Cameron Hospital Service District.
SECTION 2. That the President and Secretary of this Lower Cameron Hospital Service District are empowered, authorized, and requested to cause to be published a public notice describing the geographic limits of the District, said publication to be made in one issue of the Cameron Pilot, in the same edition as the Notice to Voters is published, pertaining to the special tax election authorized by the District, by resolution adopted this date.

Beginning at the southeast corner of Cameron Parish, Louisiana; thence in a northerly direction along the east line of Cameron Parish, Louisiana, to the northeast corner of Township 13 South, Range 3 West in Cameron Parish, Louisiana (and being the northeast corner of Section 1, Township 13 South, Range 3 West);
Thence in a westerly direction along the north line of Township 13 South, Ranges 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 West (traversing the intracoastal Canal, Rabbit Island, Lacassine Point, the Lacassine National Wildlife Refuge, and Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge and the Sweetlake Oil Field) to the northwest corner of Section 6, Township 13 South, Range 7 West (near the east bank of Sweet Lake);
