Louisiana Ornithological Society Announces Big News for Birders! Their Fall meeting is coming to Hackberry on Oct. 9-11. Join birders from across the region for a weekend of field trips, presentations, fellowship and great birding in beautiful Cameron Parish.

Featured keynote speaker for Saturday will be Kenn Kaufman. He is one of America’s most well-known birders, naturalists, author, artist and educator. As a teenager, he hitchhiked across North America in pursuit of birds-an adventure he chronicled in his classic book Kingbird Highway.

This is a weekend you wont want to miss. Grab your binoculars and join us for a fantastic weekend of birding.
