The Grand Lake Hornets met the Crowley Gents in the Welsh jamboree last week.

The Hornets’ offense and defense flexed their muscles against the class 3A Gents.

Zach Manuel had 8 carries for 52 yards; Baker Knowles had 6 carries for 37 yards; Bransyn Mudd had 3 carries for 8 yards; Landen Krienke had 3 carries for 60 yards and a touchdown; and Luke St. Romain had 2 carries for 2 yards.

Cullen Manuel recorded a sack as well as forcing a fumble and returning it 40 yards for a touchdown on the same play!

Final Score: Grand Lake 14, Crowley 6
