At approximately 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, an incident occurred at Sabine Pass Liquefaction in Cameron Parish that resulted in one contractor being injured. Emergency personnel responded immediately. The contractor passed away after being transported to a hospital in nearby Beaumont.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the individual’s family and friends. No other injuries were reported. The safety of our personnel, community and environment is our top priority. An investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
