Crab Festival of Holly Beach will be held Friday through Sunday, June 12-14, at 2412 Heron St.

The schedule is as follows:

Friday, June 12

5 p.m. Gates Open

6-7:30 p.m. Beat Rusty’s Seasonings of Every Stuff cookoff

7-9:30 p.m. The Fifth Edition

Gates close at 10 p.m.

Saturday, June 13

9 a.m. Gates Open – $10 Adults; $5 kids 12 & up

9:30- 11 a.m. Crab Bingo

11 a.m.-12 p.m. Crab Pie Eating contest

12-1:30 p.m. Nik-L-Beer Band

2-3:30 p.m. Gerard Delafose & The Zydeco Gators

4-6 p.m. Richard Lebouef

6-7 p.m. Awards Ceremony

7-8:30 p.m. Lukas Meaux & Cajun Beat

7:30-8 p.m. Dance Contest

9-11 p.m. Jamie Bergeron & the Kickin Cajuns

Sunday, June 14

9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Zydeco Pancake Breakfast

Friday and Saturday – All Day Kids Zone, Food Trucks, and Vendors.

Friday Coolers are welcome; No pets – trained service dogs only. Saturday No Coolers Allowed.

Cookoff

The Crab Festival Cookoff will be held in conjunction with the Holly Beach Crab Festival on Saturday, June 14, at 2412 Heron St.

You can register Friday Night and there will be a $25 entry fee for each category.

The entry categories are: Crab Appetizer, Crab Side Dish, Crab Entree, Bayou Dish (anything from the bayou: alligator, duck, rabbit, fish, shrimp, etc.) and Dessert (does not have to be crab).

Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each category. An overall Grand Champion will be determined by points.

Turn in Times: 11 a.m. Crab Appetizer, 11:15 a.m. Crab Side Dish, 11:30 a.m. Crab Main Dish, 11:45 a.m. Bayou Dish, 12 p.m. Dessert.
