Last Friday, May 8, the Hackberry Mustangs hosted the defending Class C state champion Ebarb Rebels in quarterfinal action. Hackberry was hoping to make history by making it to the state tournament for the first time in program history. However the Mustangs’ Cinderella season came up one run short.

Jacob Tilotta was 1-2, Madden Spicer was 1-4 with an RBI, Lane Gray was 2-3, and Kaston Moore was 1-3.
