In a Cameron Parish showdown, Grand Lake Hornets and Hackberry Mustangs faced off on the baseball diamond last week a non-District action but the Hornets would run away with this one as the Mustangs could not overcome some costly errors.

For Grand Lake Kasen Quinn was 1-4 with an RBI, Jaxon Busby was 2-3, Law Faulk was 2-4 with 4 RBIs, Jon Verzwyvelt was 2-3 with 2 RBIs, Ty Duhon was 1-4, Tayte Picou was 1-1, Matthew Fitkin was 3-4 with an RBI, Ryder Shields was 1-3, and Bransyn Mudd was 1-3 with 2 RBIs.

Law Faulk pitched two innings only allowing one hit and recorded two strikeouts, Jwill Sims pitched two innings only allowing two hits and recorded two strikeouts, Luke Daigle closed out the final inning only allowing two hits and recorded two strikeouts.

For Hackberry, Jacob Tilotta was 2-4, Madden Spicer was 1-3, and Derek Murphy was 1-3.

Devin Murphy pitched five innings and recorded 6 strikeouts.
