A regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Hackberry Recreation District was held at the Hackberry Recreation Center in Hackberry, Cameron Parish, Louisiana, Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 4:15 p.m.
Members Present: Travis LaBove, Travis Welch, and Terry J. Murphy.
Members Absent: Bethany Moore and Desiree Boykin.
Guests: None.
The meeting was called to order by the Chairman; Terry J. Murphy and the following business was discussed.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, seconded by Travis LaBove, and carried to accept the regular meeting minutes as read.
Motion was made by Travis LaBove, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried to accept the financial statements.
Motion was made by Travis Labove, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried to elect Bethany Moore as Chairman of the Board for 2026.
Motion was made by Terry J. Murphy, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried to elect Travis LaBove as Vice-Chairman of the Board for 2026.
Motion was made by Travis LaBove, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried to adopt the 2026 Budget for the General Fund.
Motion was made by Travis Welch, seconded by Travis LaBove, and carried to adopt the 2026 Budget for the Multi-Purpose Facility.
Motion was made by Travis Labove, seconded by Travis Welch, and carried to allow Board President to sign Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with the Cameron Parish Police Jury for land purchase.
Motion by Travis Welch, seconded by Travis LaBove, and carried to adjourn the meeting.
