The Lower Cameron Hospital Service District No. 2 met on January 8, 2025 at 5:30 pm and meeting was called to order, Board members in attendance were: Lynn Griffith, Allison Romero, Rhonda Coleman, Vickie Trahan and April Young
The prayer and pledge were recited.
On the motion of Mrs. Young, seconded by Mrs. Griffith the Board approved the agenda.
Mrs. Coleman announced attendees and guests present which were Scotty Badon, April Trahan and Mrs. Tressie Brunson with West Cal Cam Hospital.
On the motion of Mrs. Young, seconded by Mrs. Griffith, the Board approved the minutes from the December 4, 2024 meeting with the notated corrections to be made.
The Board discussed the following business:
Old Business
Attic was cleaner properly.
Fence was built around generator to eliminate any safety hazards.
Discussed that fencing around the facility may need to be changed, possible discussion of galvanized perimeter fencing- will get quotes to determine cost factor
Secretarial Duties were discussed and a job description provided, will discuss in more detail any possible additions to duties as needed at March meeting
Discussed email from Capital One and further steps to recover fraudulent checks
Discussed By-Laws to update if necessary
New Business
Discussion of WCCH Financials – Mrs. Brunson of WCCH gave overview of Financials as prepared by WCCH
Mrs. Brunson-WCCH discussed of new marketing campaign that will be implemented to advertise the Johnson Bayou Rural Health Clinic
Discussion of banking information received from Mrs. Griffith
Discussion of checking account balance
On the motion of Mrs. Young, seconded by Mrs. Trahan, the Board received the financials as presented by Mrs. Griffith and Mrs. Brunson-WCCH.
On the motion of Mrs. Griffith, seconded by Ms. Romero, the Board approved to appoint Mrs. Rhonda Coleman as president and Mrs. April Young as Vice-President for a two-year term.
On the motion of Mrs. Griffith, seconded by Ms. Romero, the Board approved to adjourn the meeting.
