The Grand Lake Junior High football team begin their season last Tuesday at home when they took on the Welsh War Pups and what was a very close game.

Unfortunately, no stats are available from this game. The junior Hornets played extremely hard against a tough Welsh group.

The Hornets would eventually fall 19-14.

The junior Hornets’ next game was at home on Tuesday Jan. 20th against Iowa at 5:30 p.m.
