Gravity Drainage District No. 4 of Cameron Parish held a regular meeting at South Cameron High School, 753 Oak Grove Highway, Grand Chenier, Louisiana 70643, at 5:30 pm, on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
Chairman Shane Broussard called the meeting to order.
Board members present for the meeting were Shane Broussard, Leslie Griffith, Yancy Welch, Zavier Theriot and Dan Nunez. All board members were present.
On motion of Mr Nunez, seconded by Mr. Theriot and carried, the minutes of the Thursday, November 20, 2025, meeting were approved.
On motion of Mr. Griffith seconded by Mr. Theriot and carried, the Board accepted the financial report of November 30, 2025.
On motion of Mr. Welch, seconded by Mr. Nunez and carried, the Board approved the following bills for payment:
1. Jeff Davis Electric Co-Op – $80.68
2. Cameron Pilot – $41.00
On motion of Mr. Welch, seconded by Mr. Theriot and carried, the Board approved the Bookkeeper contract for the year 2026.
On motion of Mr. Theriot, seconded by Mr. Welch and carried, the Board approved the following 2026 meeting dates to be held at 5:30 pm at South Cameron High School in Creole, Louisiana: Wednesday, January 21, 2026; Wednesday, February 18, 2026; Wednesday, March 18, 2026; Thursday, April 23, 2026; Thursday, May 21, 2026; Thursday, June 18, 2026; Wednesday, August 19, 2026; Thursday, September 24, 2026; Thursday, October 22, 2026; Thursday, November 19, 2026; and Thursday, December 17, 2026.
On motion of Mr. Theriot, seconded by Mr. Nunez and carried, the Board approved the addition of a permit for Perdue Oil and Gas LLC.
On motion of Mr. Nunez, seconded by Mr. Theriot and carried, the Board approved the following permit: Permit LCUP#260102, Perdue Oil & Gas, LLC, Location of Permit, Off Little Chenier Road, Creole, Lat. 29 50’24.03”, Long. 93 2’51.61” (proposes to plug and abandon an orphan well, remove NORM waste, access and reenter existing well bores for oil and gas production.
There being no further business, on a motion from Mr. Theriot, seconded by Mr. Welch and carried, the meeting was declared adjourned.
