The Cameron Parish Wastewater District No. 1 Board met in regular session on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 4:00 P.M. in the Wastewater District office located at 126 Ann Street in the town of Cameron, Louisiana.

The meeting was called to order by the President. The voluntary Prayer was led by Tammy Vincent along with the roll call. The Pledge was led by Tammy Vincent.
Roll Call: Present: Tammy Vincent, Ruben Doxey, Vickie Conner, Mary Jones and Anthony Theriot
Absent:
There were no public comments.
On a motion by Mary Jones, seconded by Ruben Doxey and carried, to adopt the agenda for the October 28, 2025, Wastewater board meeting.
On a motion by Ruben Doxey, seconded by Mary Jones and carried, to approve and dispense from reading the regular session September minutes.
On a motion by Vickie Conner, seconded by Anthony Theriot and carried, to approve the financial statement, including the Actual vs Budget, for the month of September 2025.
On a motion by Vickie Conner, seconded by Mary Jones and carried, that the bills for the month of September 2025 be paid.
On a motion by Vickie Conner, seconded by Mary Jones and carried, to accept the 2024 audit presented by Coy Vincent with Gragson, Casiday and Guillory, LLP.
On a motion by Anthony Theriot, seconded by Ruben Doxey and carried, to open and accept sealed bids for the 2004 PERK Utility Trailer, 2011 Homesteader cargo trailer #1, 2011 Homesteader cargo trailer #2, 2011 Homesteader cargo trailer #3, 2011 Homesteader cargo trailer #4, and the 2007 Ford F350 pickup truck.
On a motion by Mary Jones, seconded by Anthony Theriot and carried, to accept the highest bid from James Durham with JJ Merchant, in the amount of $877.77 for the 2004 PERK utility trailer.
On a motion by Mary Jones, seconded by Ruben Doxey and carried, to accept the highest bid from James Durham with JJ Merchant, in the amount of $1077.77 for the 2011 Homesteader cargo trailer #1.
On a motion by Mary Jones, seconded by Anthony Theriot and carried, to accept the highest bid from James Durham with JJ Merchant, in the amount of $877.77 for the 2011 Homesteader cargo trailer #2.
On a motion by Anthony Theriot, seconded by Mary Jones and carried, to accept the highest bid from James Durham with JJ Merchant, in the amount of $777.77 for the 2011 Homesteader cargo trailer #3.
On a motion by Vickie Conner, seconded by Mary Jones and carried, to accept the highest bid from James Durham with JJ Merchant, in the amount of $1077.77 for the 2011 Homesteader cargo trailer #4.
Due to a tie bid for the 2007 Ford F350 pickup truck – we are rejecting all bids. Therefore, we will redo the rebid process for this item.
The adoption of the resolution and the introduction of ordinance declaring certain surplus movable property of the Cameron Parish Wastewater District #1 DBA Cameron Parish Water & Wastewater District #1 hereinafter referred to as CPW#1 and providing for the disposal thereof. Motion was made by Mary Jones, seconded by Ruben Doxey and carried, that the following ordinance be introduced: An ordinance declaring certain surplus movable property of the CPW#1 to be sold as is and/or providing for the disposal thereof (1) 2007 Ford F350 crew cab pick-up truck. A public hearing on said ordinance was held at 4:00 P.M. on the 28th day of October in the CPW#1 office in Cameron, Louisiana.
On a motion by Mary Jones, seconded by Vickie Conner and carried, there being no further business, the meeting stands adjourned.
