Hornets fall to Jeanerette in second round

By Jake McCoy

For the second year in a row the Grand Lake Hornets season comes to an end at the hands of the Jeanerette Tigers in the second round of the playoffs. The Hornets started off hot and held their own defensively for a majority of the first half, but after that the Tigers would pull away for good ending Hornets season again by the final score of 54-7.

Despite the heartbreaking loss, the Hornets once again had a fantastic season and will go into the off-season with a lot of positivity and momentum going into next season!

We want to thank the seniors for all of their efforts during the past four years.
