CPAD2 met on October 15, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the CPAD2 Office at 979 Main St., Hackberry, La. 70645
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 PM.
Pledge was led by Mrs. Simon
Prayer was led by Mrs. Simon
Members Present: Randall McFatter, Lynn Griffith, Kathleen Simon, Terry Faulk, and Calise Romero.
Members Absent: Kattie Toups
Guests: Rhonda Coleman, Frank Lenoir, Debbie Fontenot, Craig Broussard, Mr. and Mrs. Sonny McGee, Michael Fewel, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Long, Tom Barrett, Julie Trahan, Stephanie Huck and Brad Lester.
Members read and approved the September 17, 2025, board minutes with a motion by Mr. McFatter and a 2nd by Mrs. Simon; the motion carried unopposed.
When asked, there were no public comments.

New Business:
1.Vice President Calise Romero read aloud the Resolution Ordering and Calling for a special election on April 18, 2026 and upon a motion by Mr. McFatter and a 2nd by Mrs. Griffith the resolution was adopted the vote thereon being as follows 5 Yeas, 0 Nays and 1 Absent to adopt the resolution.
2. Cameron Parish’s district attorney, Tom Barrett, gave a presentation on ad valorem taxes and Millages; no action was needed.
3.With no other business, a motion to adjourn was made by Mrs. Simon and a 2nd by Mr. Faulk, and the motion carried.
