Notice is hereby given that Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC, Sabine Pass Liquefaction Stage V, LLC, and Sabine Crossing, LLC have applied for a 401 Water Quality Certification clear, grade, excavate, and place fill to expand the existing Sabine Pass LNG facility off LA-82 west of Johnson Bayou in Cameron Parish. The expansion includes the addition of three (3) natural gas liquefaction trains, one (1) boil off gas re-liquefaction unit, and supporting infrastructure, including a permanent laydown yard off US-90 in Lake Charles in Calcasieu Parish. Additionally, a 48-inch diameter natural gas pipeline approximately 55.6 miles in length extending from Liberty County, Texas, to the Sabine Pass LNG facility, along with supporting infrastructure, will be constructed. Sabine Pass Liquefaction, LLC, Sabine Pass Liquefaction Stage V, LLC, and Sabine Crossing, LLC is applying to the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality, Office of Environmental Services for a Water Quality Certification in accordance with statutory authority contained in the LAC 33:IX.1507.A-E and provisions of Section 401 of the Clean Water Act.
