?LEGAL NOTICE
Pursuant to Article IV, Section 21(D)(1) of the Louisiana Constitution of 1974, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Southwest Louisiana Electric Membership Corporation (SLEMCO) seeks to establish a Rate Rider for recovery of certain costs incurred in connection with storm repairs and carrying costs and has filed an Application for Approval on July 3, 2025 with the Louisiana Public Service Commission.
This application will affect all consumers of SLEMCO, which are located within the Parishes of Acadia, Avoyelles, Cameron, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, and Vermilion. The application filed by SLEMCO, if granted, will add an average of $1.96 monthly rider for a 12-month period to be paid by consumers of electricity from SLEMCO.
