Notice of CP2 LNG and
CP Express Project
Environmental Complaint Resolution Procedure
Venture Global CP2, LLC (CP2 LNG) and Venture Global CP Express, LLC (CP Express), both wholly owned subsidiaries of Venture Global LNG, Inc., are subject to regulation by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and are planning to construct the CP2 LNG and CP Express Project (Project).
The Project involves the construction and operation of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal on the east side of the Calcasieu Ship Channel in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, and the construction and operation of a pipeline and appurtenant aboveground facilities connecting the Terminal Facilities to the existing natural gas pipeline grid in east Texas and southwest Louisiana. The Project was authorized by FERC on June 27, 2024, and construction is planned to begin in Summer 2025.
CP2 LNG and CP Express have developed an Environmental Complaint Resolution Procedure to provide landowners whose land will be crossed by the Project with directions for resolving their concerns during Project construction and restoration, including concerns regarding potential fugitive dust. If a landowner has a Project-related question or concern, the following steps should be followed to communicate the question or concern to CP2 LNG and CP Express:
In the event of an emergency, please call 9-1-1.
To report a non-emergency concern or ask a Project-related question, landowners should initially call Lance Duhon, the CP2 LNG and CP Express’s Land Agent, at +1 (337) 739-0365. If the Land Agent cannot take the call, a voicemail should be provided that includes the landowner’s contact information and a brief description of the question or concern. A response should be expected within one business day.
If the landowner is not satisfied after speaking with the local Land Agent, they are encouraged to call and leave a message with CP2 LNG and CP Express’s dedicated toll-free telephone number at +1 (800) 514-0833 or send an email to the Project’s landowner email address at landowner@venturegloballng.com. Once a comment is received via the dedicated phone or email, CP2 LNG and CP Express will respond within one business day.
Landowners with non-emergency grievances or other concerns about the CP2 LNG and CP Express Projects may also submit an anonymous report through: https://ventureglobal.allvoices.co/ or by calling + 1 (888) 483-9086. Please include as much information as possible including any photograph or attachment which you think is relevant.
If the landowner is still not satisfied with CP2 LNG and CP Express’s response after following the above procedure, the FERC’s Landowner Helpline should be contacted at + 1 (877) 337-2237 or at LandownerHelp@ferc.gov.
Landowners are reminded to always call 8-1-1 or visit “clickbeforeyoudig.com” to have pipelines and other buried utilities located before excavation.
Landowners affected by the Project will receive a copy of the Environmental Complaint Resolution Procedure via mail. CP2 LNG and CP Express are committed to being a responsible neighbor in the community and we look forward to continuing to engage with local communities in Texas and Louisiana, and keeping residents informed about the progress of the Project.
