CPAD2 met on Mar. 19, 2025, at 6 p.m at the CPAD2 Office at 979 Main St. Hackberry, La. 70645
Meeting called to order at 6 p.m.
Pledge led by Mrs. Simon
Prayer led by Mrs. Simon
Members Present: Randall McFatter, Lynn Griffith, Kathleen Simon, Terry Faulk and Kattie Toups.
Members Absent: Calise Romero
Guests: Rhonda Coleman, Troy Meaux, Brad Lester and Darla Perry.
Members read and approved of Nov. 20th, 2024, board minutes with a motion by Mrs. Simon and a 2nd by Mrs. Griffith and motion carried unopposed.
When asked there were no public comments.
Old Business:
1. Mr. McFatter made a motion to have Mrs. Coleman sign the FTZ agreement. Mrs. Griffith made a 2nd and motion carried.
New Business:
1. Mrs. Perry gave the bill, payroll, and budget to the actual report and with a motion by Mr. McFatter, a 2nd by Mrs. Simon a motion carried unanimously to accept reports.
2. Bids for Holly Beach Renovation were opened and the bid from Rite Way Developers was accepted with a motion by Mrs. Griffith, 2nd by Mrs. Simon and all approved. Motion Carried.
3. Mr. Faulk made a motion to approve an increase for the position of Compliance Officer, Mr. McFatter made a 2nd and motion carried.
4. With a motion by Mr. McFatter and a 2nd by Mrs. Simon and carried the board went into Executive Session at 6:25 p.m. to discuss Sweetlake/Klondike/Lowry property. With a motion by Mrs. Simon and a 2nd by Mrs. Griffith and carried the board came out of executive session at 6:35 p.m. Mrs. Simon made a motion to add item 5 to the agenda for the Purchase of Sweetlake Property, Mr. McFatter made a 2nd and motion carried.
5. Mr. Faulk made a motion to purchase the property near the corner of Hwy 27 and Hwy 384 for the Sweetlake/Klondike/Lowry Ambulance Unit 5, Mrs. Griffith made a 2nd and motion carried to have Mrs. Coleman move forward with the purchase.
6. Mrs. Coleman presented the director’s report and with a motion by Mrs. Simon and a 2nd by Mrs. Griffith the motion carried to accept report as given.
7. With no other business, a motion to adjourn was made by Mrs. Simon and 2nd by Mrs. Griffith and motion carried.
