November 21, 2024
Gravity Drainage District No. 4 of Cameron Parish held a regular meeting at South Cameron High School, 753 Oak Grove Highway, Grand Chenier, Louisiana 70643, at 5:30 pm, on Thursday, November 21, 2024.
Chairman Shane Broussard called the meeting to order.
Board members present for the meeting were Shane Broussard, Leslie Griffith, Yancy Welch and Zavier Theriot. Board member Dan Nunez was absent.
Present for the Public Comment Period was Mr. Mitch Thomas with K & M Projects who updated the Board on the status of the Crain Brothers culvert.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Theriot and carried, the minutes of the Thursday, October 24, 2024, meeting were approved.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Welch and carried, the Board approved to sign the annual bookkeeper contract for year 2025.
On motion of Mr. Griffith seconded by Mr. Theriot and carried, the Board accepted the financial report of October 31, 2024.
On motion of Mr. Griffith seconded by Mr. Welch and carried, the Board approved the transfer of $30,000 to the LAMP account.
On motion of Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Theriot and carried, the Board approved the following bills for payment:
1. Jeff Davis Electric Co-Op – $68.87
On motion of Mr. Theriot, seconded by Mr. Welch and carried, the Board approved to add the following permit to the agenda.
There being no further business, on a motion from Mr. Griffith, seconded by Mr. Theriot and carried, the meeting was declared adjourned.
