Visitors: Rusty Welch, Mitch Thomas, Matt Richard, Adam Henry
The Minutes from the July meeting was approved. A motion was made by Ronald Nunez seconded by Mike Henry, all were in favor.
The financial report was approved. A motion was made by Ronald Nunez seconded by Mike Henry, all were in favor.
A motion was made by Ronald Nunez to pay all current bills. The motion was seconded by Shirley Gray all were in favor.
The board approved Permit# 240805 Venture Global CP Express LLC. 5808 West Creole Highway, purposes to lease the Savoie Contractor Yard to support construction of the CP Express Pipeline. A motion was made by Ronald Nunez, seconded by Mike Henry. All were in favor.
Mitch Thomas and Matt Richard with K&M Project Services gave a presentation on the North Cameron Protection Levee.
Mitch Thomas also talked to the board members about the bidding process procedures. A motion was made by Gabe Lalande, seconded by Mike Henry to give K&M Project Services approval to put out the bidding for the North Cameron Protection Levee Project pending the Cameron Parish Police Jury’s approval of the bidding documents. All were in favor.
The Drainage Board members would also like for it to be a mandatory pre-bid process. A motion was made by Mike Henry, seconded by Gabe LaLande. All were in favor.
Rusty Welch talked to the board about the crossing on Susie Fawvor and Phillip Smith’s Land. K&M Project Services will give a cost estimate for this work.
Ronald Nunez made a motion to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Shirely Gray, all were in favor.
