The Minutes from the May meeting was approved. A motion was made by Mike Henry seconded by Shirly Gray all were in favor.
The financial report was approved. A motion was made by Shirley Gray seconded by Mike Henry, all were in favor.
A motion was made by Mike Henry to pay all current bills. The motion was seconded by Shirley Gray all were in favor.
The board approved Permit# 240703 Venture Global LNG, Inc. All were in favor.
The board approved Permit# 240701 Cameron Parish Police Jury. All were in favor.
Mitch Thomas with K&M Project Services gave an update on the North Cameron Protection Levee. He let the board know everything is moving in the right direction but progress is very slow.
Water is coming in at W1 West. There are a lot of breaches that need to be fixed. One culvert needs immediate attention the water is free flowing. As per Kara with the Police Jury the culvert needs fixing now. It could be done under emergency repair work. Mike Henry made a motion it was seconded by Shirley Gray to let the parish look at the culvert and fix it. This was suggested by Police Jury member Mark Daigle, they just needed to Gravity Drainage to approve this. When the permit is approved the rest of the breaches will be fixed.
A motion was made by Mike Henry to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Shirley Gray, all were in favor.
