AT PRIVATE SALE
NOTICE IS GIVEN that THOMAS GLENN HOFFPAUIR as Executor of the Succession of GENEVIEVE CONNOR HOFFPAUIR petitioned this court for authority to sell immovable property of the Succession at private sale in accordance with the provisions of Article 3281 of the Code of Civil Procedure for amounts listed on the petition, and as set forth on the attached Exhibits A, B, C, D and E, to the petition for authority on file in these proceedings, including but not limited to the immovable property proposed to be sold at private sale is described as follows:
Immovable Property – Cameron Parish (#3)
All of the succession’s interest (believed to be a 100% interest) in and to the following:
All of the Vendor’s right, title, and interest in and to all property which they obtained as a result of a partition and partial release of mortgage between John Russell Gary, Sr., Willie Mae Trahan Gary, Darrell Varnado, Vernon Varnado, and Milton Joseph Carrier executed on August 15, 1989 and filed for record in the records of Cameron Parish in Conveyance Book 698, and Mortgage Book 168 under file number 214930 which was filed for record on August 16, 1989 which is all of vendor’s right, title, and interest in real estate in the West half of the East half of Section Sixteen (16), Township Twelve (12) South, Range Four (4) West, Cameron Parish, Louisiana which is more fully and accurately described in the partition described herein and partially shown on the plat attached to and recorded with the original of such partition.
LESS AND EXCEPT, a strip of land 65 feet in width immediately east of Lot 2 as shown on the plat filed for record with the partition described above in file #214930 of Cameron Parish, bounded on the North by the parish road, bounded on the South by the Mermentau River, bounded on the West by the East line of Lot 2, and bounded on the East by said line running parallel with the east line of Lot 2 sixty-five (65) feet East of such lot. This is according to the plat of survey recorded in the records of Cameron Parish, described above.
Being the same property acquired in that certain Sale with Vendor’s Lien March 8, 1991, John Russell Gary to Thomas Cleveland Hoffpauir Cameron Parish and recorded in Book 725, Page 29, File 221848.
