NOTICE
Notice is hereby given out of an abundance of caution, pursuant toArticle IV, Section 21(D)(1) of the Louisiana Constitution, that on March 26, 2020 Entergy Louisiana, LLC (“ELL”), an electric public utility providing retail electric service to customers in fifty-eight (58) parishes of the State of Louisiana, filed with the Louisiana Public Service Commission (“LPSC”), its Formula Rate Plan Rider ScheduleFRP Interim Update and workpapers, including the final estimated first-year revenue requirement for Lake Charles Power Station. The filing reflects the resulting interim Formula Rate Plan (“FRP”) factors necessary to recover the revenue requirement associated with the placement in service of Lake Charles Power Station. After accountingfor that revenue requirement and other adjustments required by theFRP, the net increase in FRP rates will be $102.598 million. Except for those rate schedules excluded under ELL Rider Schedule FRP.1, the required interim FRP factor of 48.4307% is to be applied toeach of Legacy ELL’s rate classes and the required interim FRP fac.tor of 50.5144% is to be applied to each of Legacy EGSL’s rate classes, both effective for monthly customer bills rendered on and after the first billing cycle of April 2020.
It is estimated that the adjustment in rates will have the following effects upon applicable Legacy ELL customers’ typical monthly bills(based on the Fuel Adjustment Clause and other riders for the monthof March 2020): a typical monthly bill for a Residential customer using1,000 kWh would increase approximately $3.02, from $91.79 to $94.81; a typical monthly bill for a Small General Service customer using 50 kW and 12,500 kWh would increase approximately $42.69,from $1,269.34 to $1,312.03; a typical monthly bill for a Large Gen.eral Service customer using 1,000 kW and 500,000 kWh would in.crease approximately $966.25, from $32,891.80 to $33,858.05.
It is estimated that the adjustment in rates will have the following effects upon applicable Legacy EGSL customers’ typical monthly bills(based on the Fuel Adjustment Clause and other riders for the monthof March 2020): a typical monthly bill for a Residential customer using1,000 kWh would increase approximately $3.00, from $90.91 to $93.91; a typical monthly bill for a Small General Service customer using 1,500 kWh would increase approximately $6.22, from $177.37 to $183.59; a typical monthly bill for a General Service customer using 500 kW and 255,500 kWh would increase approximately $459.19, from $15,957.26 to $16,416.45.
