There was a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners of Gravity Drainage District 9 at 6:00 pm, Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the Hackberry Waterworks Office, 1190 Main St., Hackberry, LA 70645
Members Present: Jared Desormeaux, Gordon Gremillion, Will Aucoin
Absent: Wesley Hardin, Bobby Stansel
Employees Present: Shaun Kyle
The meeting was called to order by vice-president Jared Desormeaux and the following business was discussed.
Public Comment period was given on all agenda items. No comments were made.
On motion of Will Aucoin, seconded by Gordon Gremillion and carried unanimously the Board approved the previous meeting minutes.
On motion of Gordon Gremillion, seconded by Will Aucoin and carried unanimously the Board elected to make an offer of $10,000 per lot for the 3 lots of property connecting to the current Gravity Drainage Department owned property on Legion St. instead of the original 2 lots.
On motion of Will Aucoin, seconded by Gordon Gremillion and carried unanimously the board authorized Jared Desormeaux as the representative signer on the Buy, Sell Agreement for the purchase of the property on Legion St.
On motion of Gordon Gremillion, seconded by Will Aucoin and carried unanimously the Board accepted the May and June 2024 Financial Report and Actual vs Budget Report.
On motion of Will Aucoin, seconded by Gordon Gremillion and carried unanimously the Board approved the invoices for payment.
On motion of Gordon Gremillion, seconded by Will Aucoin and carried unanimously the meeting was adjourned.
