Lousiana Souvenirs is owned and operated by Steve and Darla Faul from Port Arthur, Texas. They have lived and worked in Holly Beach many times through the years. They fell in love with the area and purchased property in 2010 and stay here about 8 months of the year.
They opened their souvenir shop in 2017 with a small selection of shirts and coffee mugs and some beach decor. They were there only on weekends during the summer season.
After retiring in 2019, they opened the shop fulltime.
Business hours are 9:30 a.m.-“Mosquito-30”. (It has been a long standing joke, but try to stay open as late as the bugs allow.) Locals and regulars know that they are just a knock away from opening, if a need arises.
They not only carry a large line of Holly Beach souvenirs: mugs, shot glasses, shirts, calendars, magnets, beach towels, etc., but most of the basic necessities. A large selection of spices, canned goods, rice, and other cooking needs. Utensils, paper goods, cold drinks, ice cream, and so much more. They try to remember anything you may have forgotten to bring!
They love the support their visitors have shown, and try to repay it throughout the year. They host bands and serve dinners free to the community several times a year, and try to support all the locals and their businesses. New items added weekly.
