Rosemary LeBoeuf

Rosemary LeBoeuf, of Lake Charles, formerly of Creole, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018.

She was a choir member for Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Creole for many years and in recent years at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Lake Charles.

Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Nunez and husband, Donny; and a son, Greg LeBoeuf.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Creole. Rev. Babasino Fernandes officiated. Burial followed in Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery in Creole.

Bobbie Darbonne

Bobbie Jean McGee Darbonne, 77, passed away Friday, Nov. 23, 2018, surrounded by her family and close friends.

She was born in Ponca City, Oklahoma, and resided in Hackberry.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Will “Billy” Darbonne; son, Kent Darbonne, wife Michelle; and granddaughters, Kennedy and Reagan; son, Keith “Weese” Darbonne, wife Donna, two step grandchildren, Sandy and Paul; and two great-grandchildren Kaydence and Whitney; and sisters Katy Large and Pat Schwarz.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Margie McGee; and brother, Jim McGee.

She was a beautician by trade, and worked as rodeo secretary for the Louisiana franchise of the National Little Britches Rodeo Association for over 25 years.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 1, at Hixson Funeral Home in Sulphur. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. with a rosary to be held at 6 p.m., followed by a memorial service celebrating her life.
