Performance scores increase in parish

“Cameron Parish School District strives to maintain a strong District Performance Score in the state accountability system, and we are proud that we saw a 4.6 increase in total points over the previous year moving us from a “B” to an “A” district. Veterans honored at Grand Lake High

On Friday, Nov. 8, Grand Lake High School held its annual Veteran’s Day Program. Students and faculty honored Veterans in the Grand Lake community with a musical celebration of various patriotic songs, cards, PowerPoint presentation of students/faculty from Grand Lake High, a Wall of Heroes; pictures of Veterans in the community who served our great country and a reception in which Veterans were served cake and punch.
