Ferry to close from 8:30 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly

The Cameron Ferry will be shut down from 8:30 p.m.-6 a.m. until further notice, says DOTD, because the wooden fender on the west side landing has been pushed out, exposing a concrete “bump stop.” The concern is that the ferry could hit the concrete in the dark, damaging the hull. Read More
